Free Magic Lantern Cropmarks

Very useful tool for all ML users made by guys at www.thepixelisland.com
Cropmarks are some kind of masks or caches that you can apply on the liveview of your camera, they allow you to see the picture you’re shooting with new benchmarks, for instance with new ratios, like cinemascope.
Thus, when the cinematographer makes his picture, he can set up his frame according the the new form obtained with a specific cropmark
Caution: Note that cropmarks are only marks, the don’t change the recording format of your video. The final image will keep the basic ratio of your camera, for the cropmarks are only changing the liveview display. To obtain a modified video ratio fitting the cropmarks, you’ll need to crop the image in post-production.
The Pixel Island alows you to freely download 5 cropmarks, here are the details of them:
1-85.bmp : Standard 35mm cameras recording format, the ratio is 1:85
2-20.bmp : 70mm cameras recording format, the ratio is 2:20
2-35.bmp : Recording format of cameras equipped with anamorphic lens before 1970 (ratio 2:35)
2-39.bmp : Recording format of cameras equipped with anamorphic lens after 1970 (ratio 2:39)
720p.bmp : Display a frame that matches the HD720p format (1280×720), to use only while recording in 1080p format (1920×1080)
